DAY 9! Last Night's Dinner Was....


Absolutely delicious! Organic lettuce, chopped fine, sugar snap pea pods, asparagus spears, diced water chestnuts, cashews, grilled chicken, and an asian vinegarette. De-li-cious. Yep, ate the whole thing. I had *zero* appetite yesterday, I think our busy weekend caught up with us, and I was in a zombie state, so I had a few extra carbs to use up, hence, the water chestnuts. What a treat!
Today ALSO happens to be our wedding anniversary, so dinner is OUT. I'm thinking a big ribeye steak for dinner tonight, so today's fare will be light. I'm definitely in ketosis, and feeling the energy surge and the decreased appetite that comes along with it.
YAY!

TODAY'S PLAN:
Breakfast
eggs

Snack
cuke slices and some cheese

Lunch
Leftover salad from last night

Snack:
Cottage Cheese

Dinner:
Ribeye. Yes. Ribeye, some steamed veggies and a Caesar salad sans croutons.

'Tis a beautiful day again here in Michigan...not a single cloud in the sky (yet)...supposed to storm later, so I'll have to take advantage and get out into the gardens before the rain hits.

That salad looks great but I'm not sure I could be so committed to lo-carb eating - good for you!!!!

It's easy, once you begin. Like anything, you just have to commit to it, and don't look back.

That's not to say that I'm NEVER EVER EVER EVER going to eat another cookie or piece of (droooool) cake ever again...just not ALL THE TIME!
